Research Emphasis

Enology and Viticulture Research Program

  • Area of expertise is in viticulture and enology with emphasis on the influence of the pre-harvest complex on the final juice of wine quality. Also, emphasis is placed in the area of evaluating new processing variables on wine quality and style. Extensive efforts have been placed on developing new juice products from grape/fruit blends.
