2009 Food and Beverage Innovations Competition

You are invited to participate in the 2009 Food and Beverage Innovations Competition. In this competition you will submit the intent to enter form by January 26, 2009, develop a new healthy snack or healthy appetizer, prepare report and poster presentation for judging and orally present your product if you are one of the final six teams.

UA Food Science Team Wins National Award

The University of Arkansas team of sensory science graduate students won first place in the 4th Annul Elaine Skinner Memorial Sensory Design competition. The team members included Youngseung Lee, Josha Tubbs, Gewalin Oupadissakoon and Lauren Dooley. The team won a $5000 prize and traveled to Cincinnati to accept their award at the Society of Sensory Professionals Conference.
