New FDSC Course Offered This Fall
FDSC 2401 Uncorked: Vines to Wines is an introductory course designed to provide students with an understanding of the basic concepts of growing grapes and winemaking. This course will meet the 2nd eight weeks of the fall semester on MWF 8:35-9:25. Dr. Renee Threlfall is the instructor.
Siebenmorgen Named AACC Fellow
Dr. Terry Siebenmorgen was recently named the recipient of the Phil Williams Research Award and Fellow with the American Association of Cereal Chemists (AACC). This award is presented for a significant body of distinguished contributions to the application of science in the cereals area. He will receive a $2,000 honorarium, plaque and will be an invited guest lecturer at the association's annual meeting in October.
